The guy is built like a Greek sculpture. Watch these highlights of him playing Aussie football and tell me his talent isn’t being wasted. He runs! He tips balls. He occasionally makes physical contact with opponents. Hopefully our new co-DC staff can make better use of his skillset.

lol hes a former AFL player not rugby
He played Aussie rules not AFL. AFL is the name of the professional league and he didn’t get close to that level. I could be wrong - everyone in the northern parts of Australia hates Aussie rules.

Great idea...we can bring back Ty Chan as a punter then...no one would be able to bring him down

Much rather see Rendell at FB.

I could see him running up to the line to take a snap in short yardage situations. Losing Leonard means we may need more short yardage options now.

Just enough to get Price or Williams to hit the portal. Brilliant.

Exactly. Why would someone think he could kick a FG/XP just b/c he was a good rugby player? Punting makes sense. FG? Not so much.
I've heard that since they both involve kicking a ball, a good punter can easily transition to kicking field goals. I mean the kicking motions are nearly identical.

Then it's settled. Granger, go ahead and let coach know IE fixed the kicking issue.
