Kizer would also add that the two also would share conspiracy theories surrounding the moon landing, inner Earth and reptile people.

I don't think he said anything that debunked 9/11. Just generalizations which all conspiracy theorists like to use.

I'd read stories about some of the weird stuff he'd talk about in the locker room and off the field. Then when Kizer started spilling the beans, it shined a light on what those stories were talking about in a bit more depth.

He's a HOF football player and very odd person. Two things being true at once.
