I really don't think ESPN has a bias against ND......but with that being said I agree with most of the stuff this article says

ESPN doesn't have an anti-ND bias, they really don't have a concrete opinion on us. They go with whatever brings in the most money. They hated us when we were bad and now that our success will bring them lots of money, they're all over us.

Yeah ESPN employs Lou Holtz, Mike Golic, Hannah Storm, Dick Vitale, and several others with major connections to Notre Dame. I don't think there's really a bias either way

There are more networks biased against the Irish imo than ESPN. While I don't always care for their sensationalistic media presentation, they often will call it down the middle. I was a bit shocked when they were helping Manti's Heisman candidacy along, although they helped Manziel quite a bit too. That said, John Saunders can suck a dick, same with Jesse Palmer. Those a-holes love to report when the Irish aren't doing well, and they'll do it with **** eating grins on their faces.

F ESPN. They don't have a bias towards anything but money. They sink to the lowest common denominator in order to stir up controversy and get eyeballs on their crap. Look no further than Rob Parker, a known hack, debating RGIII's "blackness." ESPN can come out and apologize for that all they want but they got what they wanted: headlines.

I am hoping the NBC sports network can grow and give ESPN some competition.

this criticism is pretty strong coming from a site that breaks its articles up into 23049324 pieces just for the sake of garnering more hits and advertising money.

Not saying I disagree, just hate when articles are published like that.

ESPN bias has been well-debated on IE and other sites.

I found it more interesting how terribly that "article" was written. Out-of-left-field conjecture and unsupported insults all over the place. Now, they may all be true, but if you're holding yourself out as a journalist, learn to construct an argument!

It always makes me laugh when Alabama fans and, now, ND fans talk about bias in the media....especially when both teams are on the verge of a hype machine that will make previous National Championship games look like the Big Potato Bowl...
