Irish couldn't stop the run is why they lost..... period. Can't start almost each offensive drive within the 10ish yd line.
We were sloppy in the first half for sure. But after Clemson scored their last TD midway through the third quarter, their next six drives were five punts and one fumble and about 50 yards of total offense. The problem is our offense did the same.

I cannot get myself to watch this game. It is sitting in my recordings queue and I haven't started it. I was working when they played and looked forward to watching it later that day. But after coming here and reading comments after getting home, I haven't bothered.

This is the first game in 35 years that I can say I haven't watched in it's entirety at LEAST once or if I didn't have the recording, scoured around and found an online stream of it somewhere. Not sure what that says, but I have exactly zero desire to watch it even though it just takes one click of the remote.

Maybe I need to take a break from this team, but then would I still be considered a real fan? It's a conundrum. I feel like I must watch it even though I simply don't care at this point. Getting more into the women and men's basketball teams at the moment than in ND football, and that's a shocker for me.

You're not alone. Many ND fans are fatigued from always being held short, and it's not just that the SEC is an unbeatable king anymore (look at UM/OSU/FSU). The continued middle finger from the admin to the program are wearing on people. The cheap takes, the "training tables don't win games" scoffs at each incremental investment, etc.

ND brass should be worried about apathetic fans but it might be another thing they don't care about until many football season have come and gone and we watch those around us rise past us. And I know I'm hard on independence but the season literally being over on week 6 sucks. I'd rather still be playing for someone and a way into the party.

This Saturday will be 1st ND game I literally don't watch since I was like 7. Going hunting and don't care to make time to watch on my phone.

That is for no one other than yourself to determine. If you're not enjoying the product on the field and have other things you can spend your time on that would fulfill you emotionally or whatever, do that. I'm bordering on feeling the same way -- basically is the time and emotional investment worth it? I dunno. Do what makes you happy. Full stop.

Ditto for me. Same situation. Played a great round of golf and was feeling good about myself and looked up the score to find out we shit the bed. F me and after reading so many posts about the game F Parker that inept shit head. I’m still debating watching it but don’t want to get too upset. I like to form my own opinions and reconcile those with the vast array of comments. Form other die hard ND enthusiasts. Never watched the Bush push game as I would have smashed in my TV. I used to tape the games and watch them with less less inky when ND won. I’ve only watched a few losses taped. I’ve started watching the games live again but it can be a brutal experience. If the team that played USC this year could show up every week we are in the playoffs. Of course Parker didn’t have to do shit that game.
When is he getting run out?

What took you so long? I was into girls when I was around 14 or 15. With some luck we might be able to start a new thread, "Question about Women"!
