It looks like Chris Martin will be an early entry after all, at least according to this article:

He's been saying all along that he wasn't going to be an EE, but it looks like he transferred to the Hun School JUST to so he could graduate early. Still waiting to hear it from Martin himself, but if this is true this is great news.

We struck lightning in a a bottle twice in one day it seems. Super-high character guys, guys that care about academics who are also TOP-NOTCH defensive football players are just soooo hard to find, and to have both Te'o AND Martin commit on the same day was a blessing that ND and us fans will benefit from for years to come...

Can't find any info now, but I could swear I read that one of the conditions for the transfer to be approved by The Hun School, was that it wasn't so he could graduate early. I also thought I read that Martin had to convince/prove to them he would not be an EE, otherwise he wouldn't be allowed to transfer. Of course, there is always plenty of conflicting info when it comes to recruiting.

here's what C Mart had to say on 5-7-09

Hi everyone, it was brought to my attention by a friend that there was talk of EE again. This has caused many technical difficulties which prolonged the process of me getting accepted into the Hun because this issue was ruled out upon my acceptance and it kept becoming strung out as a result of message boards. I have been accepted and will be playing football and basketball at Hun. Please stop all talk and rumors of this due to the struggles me, my mother, and coach dudeck (head coach) have gone through for the past 5 months in erasing these rumors and speculations. Thank You.
