Fact is ND has improved over his last two seasons and took the team to two bowl games from a team that won 5 games the year before he got there and was losing to teams that they should have beaten. He got a team to two BCS bowl games and was beating teams that ND shouldn't have beaten, according to experts. He has had subpar talent on these teams thanks to the prior head coach who was out on the links when he should have been out recruiting.

I doubt any of this will sink into your pimple popping infested head. I could go on, but I have already wasted two minutes of my day talking to your JC Penny jerking off to adolencent ass. Nothing anyone says on here will do any good and the only reason your on here is because your a flamming troll.

I just wanted to requote myself because i actually did some freaking research (like 5 min of it probably) for this post, and then the thread gets hijacked by some IrishHater character who is clotho's brother. I just wanted to bask in the glory of my work a little longer.

First off, stars mean almost crap, second, average star rating doesn't negate the fact our junior class had NO PEOPLE IN IT! And how many played? Can you count on 3 fingers? Third, I'm pretty sure that your memory is serving you falsely, our star rating was lower. I'm not gonna do this in depth, but here's some actual data from Scout.

Looking at our back to back poor classes with low ratings and low numbers of players, is it surprising we can't hang with elite teams? No, it's not. The head coach can only change these things with time. As for playing on Sunday, a few good players does not a team make. Example: 2006 Fighting Irish. Not much more seems like it needs saying.

That said, his smug attitude gets to me, his complaining during the season about the Irish's ranking in the polls, after getting beat by 26 to Michigan at home? Where were the Quality wins? At GT?

Have the haters seen our schedule for next year? I don't think there will be much complaining. Furthermore, the academies have more heart than Central Michigan, Louisana Tech, Sam Houston State, and all those cupcakes combined.

yeah they wind up being in the top 25 at the end of the year after playing an average schedule, losing to teams they should have lost to and beating the ones they should have beat... They finished exactily in the conferance as they should have, Penn States lone accomplishment was winning vs Tennessee in the Outback bowl. Yet because they won that game and got pushed up in the polls to finish #25!? you want to brag about that win... okay then, eat it up. Congratulations, really...

Weis inherited an experienced team with no depth and few stars. When you compare the guys playing on our team to their counterparts playing at LSU, how many of our starters would start for them? Not many. Maybe not even the QB. And our backups would probably be 3rd stringers for the best teams.

Weis coached up our offense and squeazed all he could out of the talent on hand. Having a bunch of Juniors and seniors is great. But you must consider the talent level. He didn't inherit a team full of 5 star recrutis that had been coached up for 3 years.

No doubt.

One also has to wonder, if Weis hadn't been hired would people say we had "multiple NFL caliber players"? Doubt it. Many of them are NFL caliber BECAUSE of Weis, just ask them (Brady in particular).

Speaking of Chalie Weis, he personally sent a letter to my grandpa on his birthday. My gramps has had season tickets for over 40 years. The letter just said he appreciated loyal fans like him and wished him well, I thought that was a real class act by CW. This is the kinda coach who exemplifies what ND is all about and I am proud to have CW leading our program.

And plus, our cupcakes to date are far better than everyone else's.

Finally, while UNC, Stanford, PU, and Michst were pretty bad this year, when you schedule those teams in advance, it has the potential of being an unbearable schedule.

Just ask Holtz who averaged 3 top ten teams per year. Hell, if had the schedule alot of these bashers had, he would have won at least one more National Championship. And speaking of Lou, he did not fare too well his first two years against top teams. Finished the second season losing three straight including blow out losses to Miami and Texas A&M. Let the bashers bash right now because in a couple of years, they ain't gonna be around! I doubt Charlie will win the NC next year like Lou did, but mark it down, he will do alot better next year than people think. After that, ND will be BACK in full force.

You're lying! I gave you the infraction and it wasn't an inappropriate language infraction.
