A poster on the Rivals boards says Kyle Prater and Corey Cooper are likely to be ours in the next 4-5 days.

It wouldn't be credible, but this same poster predicted that both Armando Allen and Manti Te'o were Irish before they chose ND over Florida and USC, respectively (when it looked 100% certain that they were going to pick otherwise).

I have a hard time believing that Prater would decommit days after his official visit to SC when there is so much uncertainty about the staff.

If we get Stoops, I think Prater will come.

i hope this guy is right. thanks for the updates, it is wishful but good information. i dont know why but for some reason my insticts are telling me that clausen, tate, AND weis are all back next year.... i just have this feeling. clausen really hasnt said anything about the nfl, tate just mentioned "i hope this wasnt my last game at nd"... and i think to secure both of them, you need weis. who knows what swarbrick said to clausen after the game, what if he was saying something like... "you played perfect tonight, and i want to see that offense next year too..."

Prater and Cooper no doubt have been reading this board and see immediate PT with the exits to the NFL and the plethora of transfers. Obviously who the head coach is, isn't of any significance to them. They like the South Bend night life.

that really blows....nice to hear about these recruits but i would be alot more excited if the name henderson, linder, or james were being mentioned. Still only 1 OL recruit in this class, if he stays, because he has made no comment on his status if CW is fired.

Normally you wouldn't want an outgoing coach to stay, but the fact is when the offense is on, it can score on anybody.

But there were four specific KIND of fades don't ya know, fades are just as good as a power running game!
