you guys that call yourself fans are sickening, we win a game and you're ready to pull out the pitch forks and raid charlies office. you guys are ridiculous, so we didn't blow them out...its our first live action since november!!!!

we competed and we showed resiliency by keeping our heads up and getting the W against a D1 team with the same amount of scholarship players as ours!? im sorry i just don't see the huge negative in that, sure we can nitpick and spit out numbers and stats but the bottom line is we won and we have won 3 straight, for the first time since brady was here.

its like you morons are not satisfied unless we win by 30, jc throws for 500 and 4 tds, and we rush for 300 in a game, with 11 sacks on defense plus a couple of ff's and picks!

news flash that almost never happens.

for any of you who have actually played football you should know football is not won with stats you win on the field and you do watever it takes to get that W ugly or not. and to the guys who said there was no emotion or no fire, you try telling that to any one of those players who kicked and scratched and clawed and fought their ass off to get that W.

Let me first pointout that I'm not on the new coach bandwagon so that you don't call me a moron. But, I did find myself wondering about the team looking worried yesterday. I can't wait for a time when they KNOW they are going to comeback even in desperate situations -- when they show some confidence. It just looked like they were waiting for something bad to happen. They did fight and I'm happy about the win, but I could use a little less drama every now and then.

dude, seriously? have you ever played football and if so on what level? have you ever played a D-1 sport or anything at a high level? i'm guessing you're an over-achieving former high school player. charlie is building something great here but there is something just a little bit off. i attribute most of the first game to just that, the first action since last season. my hope is that we got all that rust off against the aztecs and now we can go forward and play free and loose. for you to chirp like this is simply a joke. grow up.

first, i didn't give you any kind of a formal warning for name calling. I simply asked you nicely to avoid calling people names and not to tell people they don't deserve to post here.

second, i wasn't threatening to move or pull the thread. you're entitled to make your arguments, but without the name calling.

third, this board does have rules, which have nothing to do with ND football or others' views of how well the team is doing. one of those rules is not calling people names. saying i don't have any balls is over the line again and now you have your formal warning. i suggest a quick attitude adjustment with regard to the rules of the board.

in some ways, you are preaching to the choir. Everyone on this site LOVES THE IRISH. However, its like a family.
