Tony's locked up as long as no one wants to pay his $3m buyout. If Wisconsin wants him, they will pay it.

This has actually been a huge soap opera behind the scenes for years. Bo wanted Greg Gard to have the job but when Tony Bennett and Shaka Smart, two guys with strong Madison ties are out there tearing it up, you just can't tell Barry who your successor will be. If Bo would have left after the Final Four, Tony or Smart would be the coach right now. The fact that he walked away mid-season sticks it to Barry for the rest of the year and gives Gard the conference schedule to make a case the job.

This is gonna be fun.
