Joe's kind of low key moderated on a lot of issues. He's approving as many permits to drill on federal land as Trump as well.

It’s a flip flop from Biden and an acknowledgement that they are failing, but I have zero confidence they actually intend to solve the problem. Biden’s border damage is insane.

It only took Border Czar Harris a couple of years to come up with this "out of the box" idea.
I am well aware that I wasn't around for Trump’s border wall nonsense and I'm not trying to patronize. You guys know that we have border walls that predate Trump right? The stupidity of the wall was that it would span the border and then how he went about negotiating to get less money from Congress for it, took the funds from miltary construction projects, etc.
There are plenty of border areas where walls and barriers make sense. Maintaining them effectively isn't going to be a logistical mess.
Personally, I prefer we continue leaning hard into technology to monitor the border. That said, there is the illogical part of my brain that invisions a sci-fi dystopia where Steve Miller cackles as drones kill people on the border with frickin space lasers if we do that.

It’s the lies, hypocrisy, and massive failure that piss me off. Yeah, it makes sense here and there, but not everywhere and you need everything else too. It’s the open floodgates that are killing the border. You just cross and come on through. It’s literally open borders. Approach the agent and show them where you’re headed. Insanity. Remain in Mexico and deportations would be more effective now.

Biden has waived the law, openly disregarded the court, attacked the court to frame it as illegitimate, and shown zero regard for people's fundamental liberty or the borders of this country. If he didn't want to, he wouldn't do it.
He's the chief executive, enforcement of laws is in his purview. Enforcement decisions are made everyday that I disagree with, but oh well. In this case his hands are tied about spending this money. He doesn't want to and tried to get congress to reappropriate the money. Congress chose not to. So the 20 miles of wall get built and the environment suffers because of it.

Obama and Biden have enabled Iran. This attack was likely planned and funded before that deal was even signed. It’s the point that this administration has made terrorist states stronger and made Israel and our borders more vulnerable.

Trump demanded our allies quit spending money on stupid shit and not carrying their weight on defense. Germany is a bad partner who has made terrible decisions.
The Air Force jet shedding Afghans, invasion of Ukraine, invasion of Israel, and disgraceful management of China has happened under Biden.
Peace deals, Iranian General salsa, and peace was Trump. Trump has flaws, tons. I had zero issue with his handling of foreign policy.

Palestine refuses to do anything about Hamas. They allow terrorist attacks to be launched from civilian locations, trying to goad the Israelis into retaliation so they look like the bad guys for "attacking civilians." Hamas has been allowed in the past to spread antisemitism propaganda on TV not just to adults, but on children's programs. They've indoctrinated children to hate Jews and fostered a desire to kill them. Palestine should lose all claim to those lands.

He's going to pitch de-escalation once it's obvious Israel has grabbed its pound of flesh. Israel is going to hammer Gaza quickly and painfully. That's not the issue. Israel is going to want to hammer Iran too. That's where things get interesting. We have a lot of central command assets in Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, UAE, etc, that will be on high-alert if this escalates. The Qatar relationship is most interesting, as well as the dynamic with the Saudis, given Qatar's open support for Hamas and ties to Iran. We're one week removed from an Iranian spy ring being exposed in the Biden admin. None in our circle of Blinken, Sullivan, etc. seem to inspire confidence
