Agreed. It was not my intention to make this a competition in any way, shape or form. I just remember naps with my infant (and later toddler) son. I think there's a picture or two in some box squirreled away in my house.
The rush of memories brought tears and a shortness of breath. My point is that moments such as this are far more valuable than any bottle of booze or four wheel drive jeep.
Again, my best Christmas present was when my father trusted me to assemble (until 3 AM Christmas Day) a bicycle for my younger sister.
The "concrete" pales and don't mean jack shit when compared to the thought, feeling and love. The kicker is that one never knows when one or the other (or the other or the other) will hold sway.
