Those on the ground. There was a real fire fight on the ground from two different specialty units. More people involved then was led to believe, to include more dead then just the 4 reported.

I didn't keep up with all of the details and the politics surrounding the situation when it happened, so I'm truly ignorant on most things. Were there guys that made it out of the Embassy alive?

I understand. With most things, there's what the news reports and then there's more. And yes, there were people who made it out alive.

Not really comfortable getting into specifics but the book is a good place to start and get more of the truth then has been reported.

When you combine those who only care about career advancement and those who actually give a damn, it can get ugly.

And its much deeper then just a bunch of random terrorists storming the compound.
