I'm okay with the defense, they have been put in some shitty situations and have held up pretty well.

But I cant say anything else positive. We show no heart. We are unprepared. We cant adjust. We take stupid penalties. Our play calling is atrocious.

I have defended Charlie since day one, and have never wavered.

Well I am wavering. I am not going to get angry or take any personal shots on anyone. I just have no faith in this coaching staff to get this team ready to play. If there is one game where we came out with fire in our eyes, it was this one. I think this team is lost.

I love his recruiting, 8-13 the last two seasons, and the guy is still pulling in recruits. He knows how to sell ND. For those of you who say keep him on as recruiting coordinator, dont. He would never take that job. But I really wish we could get someone who was creative, who would keep everyone off balance.

This team is just so predicatable in everything they do.

Lets get this straight: 3rd and 1 at the 35=Throw to the end zone, 4th and 1 at the 35=run? We've ran for 30 yards tonight and we're running on 4th and 1. Talk about going without a whimper.

Jimmy stares his receiver down so the defense knows where he's going.

We will not do well until we win the battle in the trenches.

Where are the changes and attitude I heard about during the week? What a bunch of bullshit. We still haven't beaten a team with a winning record. Syracuse is our only guarantee at this point and we don't deserve to go to a bowl at 6-6.

I'm tired of looking through rose colored glasses. We are not a good team. I'm not calling for heads or coaches jobs, but at this point I don't know what we can do to change the culture of this team. But I am so fucking tired of losing. Disagree if you want, but I'm just calling it as I see it. I'll always root for the Irish,but I'm really getting tired of being disappointed.

I've known all along that our o-line and Latina both suck but I've tried to be optimistic. Than, against Pitt, they were giving up sacks when Pitt was rushing THREE FUCKING GUYS. Fast forward to this week and watch them get called for holding penalties and JC stills gets sacked. Whatever progress that I thought I saw was just a by-product of the schedule. Fuck it.
