B1G officiating crew...

I'm not a conspiracy theorist or anything of the sort but a B1G crew comes to town Saturday. In the past, it seems like when we play at home against a B1G we've been given the shaft(penalty wise). Statistically, it might not show but we have been hit hard on game changing calls. Then again, it could be because we lost, or lost in a manner that was so stomach turning that ref's were blamed. Either way, with their conference basically being down to Michigan as their last hope for this year's bowls, do you think we will see some more extreme levels of crooked officiating for Delany to save face this year?

I think you explained it away pretty well. People love to blame refs/draw up theories when things go wrong. I'm sure if that last second pass had been broken up by Gray and the PI called people would have cried then too.

B1G refs will never play us favorites, especially when their conference is getting ho slapped so far this year.

I hate this about home-and-home's the worst.

Can't you just get neutral refs? Like Big-12 or something? The fact that the teams insist on their own conference refs proves they think there's some advantage there.

All I hope is they stop holding the ball so there big 10 defense can set up. This ticked me off terribly during the Purdue game. They held the ball for Purdues defense to set up but wouldn't for our's. I was at the game to see it. I don't know if it made it onto the tv coverage or not.

Yep, I was there and saw the exact same thing.

I think that's by rule -- if there's an offensive replacement, you have to allow the defense time to get theirs in as well.

We weren't substituting. They weren't either sometimes. We were just running a hurry up offense. I also thought that was the whole reason of hurry up especially when they are on our side of the field.

First time they hover on the ball we hike and spike his nuts. Well worth the incompletion. No need to go Longest Yard and waste an entire series, with Golson's arm one down should do.

If we beat michigan in every aspect of the game the officiating cant hurt us. I hate refs just as much as anyone but if we take care of business we will be fine
