Gentlemen:

Tragically, was up at my church yesterday evening to assist with a fire inside of the sanctuary.

Thankfully, no one was hurt, but the damage inside is quite horrendous. The building is standing, but I can only imagine when we will have a church building capable of holding services.

Small town church with a lot of memories for many ppl.

Prayers appreciated.

Have to remember it is just a building and the church is the body of Christ and we serve the one true God who has a plan for all of us.

Thank you!

my family attends a small country church a lot like yours. before we started attending there the church had two fires. the last fire sounds similar to yours. it took a lot of dedication and hard work but they rebuilt it like it was. We will be praying for you and your parish in this hard time. Please let us know how things turn out.

The best news is no one was injured. Prayers for all of you in your efforts to rebuild. There's strength in numbers.

I will definitely pray for you guys. After being a "nominal" Catholic for most of my life, I've finally discovered the riches of our faith over the past year or two, and it's been incredible.

Praying for you & your Church family. God has a way of taking a bad situation & making something great if we let Him. Proud no one was injured!

It sounds like you have a tight faith community. This is horrible no doubt, but it represents a great opportunity for all you to come together even further with the rebuilding. My thought and prayers!

Thank you to all for the kind words and prayers.

very emotional service this morning, but I have to believe that our Lord has a plan for this and I'm hoping he uses our congregation as a witness to the surrounding communities.

thanks again for all the support from this community of brothers!!
