Twitter has taken down an account proporting to be Antifa that posted messages advocating wide-spread violence. It was a fake account traced to a white supremacist group. Other false social media accounts similarly linked to right wing extremists are being taken down as well as those which evoke the specter of George Soros funding violent insurrections. Ridiculous but propagated by the conspiracy buffs. Russians too love to spread discord, stir up anger between opposing views, and divide the country.

Facebook has taken down accounts had ties to the Proud Boys and others which were linked to American Guard, a self-described constitutional nationalist group with “a background with connections to anti-immigrant extremism, hatred, and violence,” according to the Anti-Defamation League.
