As for global warming, when I get home in the AM I'll post some links. Basically there was a Global Cooling theory in the 70s, and a previous Global Warming warning in the 20's.
My open letter to science:
Dear Scientists,
The earth is a cyclical beast. The temps have been changing for billions of years. To be to naive as to think that us puny humans can alter the weather, well I think you all have God complexes.

PS: Where is the "worst hurricane season ever" at? The 2 years they have predicted more Cat5 storms, and more hurricanes in general. Surprisingly its been the mildest 2 years on record for hurricanes.
PPS: The hottest average temps ever recorded in the US were still in the 1930s.
PPPS: I also enjoy all this Carbon Credit bullshit. You know, where big stars can say they are helping the carbon footprint by buying carbon credits from other countries, in order to offset whatever they are doing, (IE Last years Oscars). WHAT A SCAM. Oh BTW Mr. Gore or Bono or whoever, its a little hypocritical for you to be preaching to the masses as you get off your private jet and step into your limo. Also, RE: Al Gore and his ridiculous hydro bills at his mansion.
