I didnt know if we had one, its been forever since I been here last. I wanted to start an accomplishment thread and it could be anything you accomplished.

That's a winner dude.

As of Last Saturday, I am a father of 5 years...and my kid is still alive. I consider that to be an accomplishment. ;)

I can't beat 6 months sober. That is an awesome feat!! I am earning 9 credits toward my degree every 8 weeks doing a combination of on line and in-class classes. I'm 40 and I'll finally graduate college in May at this rate. I can't wait.

Congrats IrishFan!

I ran my first 10k in the spring. Have been running 3ks forever but never pushed myself until recently. Will be running the best 10k in the nation on 4th of July, The Peachtree Road Race, along with 55,000 other people.

Its Atlanta, Its July and I will be running. Not so sure about that combo but I am going to try:)

I have a 17 month old and just found out a few months ago that I have another little one on the way. Due late November. My wife and I also just bought an additional 5 Acres right next door to us.

My greatest accomplishment is being the best father I can be.

Congrats to all of you, especially Irishfan and Fitz. Two of the biggest ones there. As for me, I am a father of 3. Considering how I acted in college, I am surprised they weren't all flipper babies.
And for my real one, I am 3 chapters away from finishing my first novel. After that the real work starts, though.

I been sober now 250 days and counting...

its been a long road

That is fantastic. One day at a time my friend. You are a much richer woman today than 250 days ago. Keep the updates coming. Here's to ND giving you a season to remember, and may they make the long days seem a bit shorter.

My accomplishment: 2 years ago last week a Catholic volunteer from South Bend, IN, fresh out of graduating from ND, came to volunteer at the school where I (a huge ND fan) teach in Los Angeles. Not only was she beautiful on the outside, she was even more lovely on the inside. They just don't make those types of girls out here in LaLa Land like they do in the midwest. We've been dating ever since, and next August we'll be getting married in the church she grew up in in South Bend, 2 minutes from campus, and our reception will be on the campus. How a guy like me landed a girl like her is beyond me, and just more proof that the Man above is looking out for us all. God is good indeed...
