Word is that Pujols was not even in uniform during the ninth inning of the game. This guy has the nerve to bitch about not playing and then he is not in uniform in the ninth when he could've pinched hit. Poor Albert was too busy crying about not playing and then his manager takes the heat off of him by saying he was going to save him for the next inning.

This would explain why he did not pinch hit for Rowand.

I thought I saw Pujols standing on the top step during the ninth. I remember being surprised that Larussa had hudson and rowand hit without subbing in his big hitter who was right there. Down one with two on sure does seem like a Pujols opportunity.

It was on Mike n the Mad Dog to day Chris Russo brought it up and he said that a very reliable source, probably a player because he refrenced that his source was on the field with him, said he was already out of uniform by the ninth. Mad Dog was ripping Pujols good.

Wow that speaks pretty poorly of Pujols then. I understand these guys really want to play and contribute to their team's success and all, but leaving the dugout and removing your uniform before the ninth inning because you are mad you haven't been put in an all-star game is pretty rediculous.
