And you are exemplifying another issue commonly associated with Notre Dame and its football program: a divisive, derisive, unwelcoming, and arrogant attitude. Offer your opinion regarding the football program or the university, leave the personal attacks aside.

To call a common fan immature and telling them they are a part of the malaise of the football program while beating one's own chest seems problematic.

The physical aspect does have something to with it, but it is a very small amount. This attack from this writer is uncalled for and yes, shows a lack of maturity, even if he is an old fan.

I also personally believe, that to be able to teach, you also need to be able to show how its done. The mental part of coaching, play calling, recruiting, personality in recruiting and coaching, and how you act reflect much more on you than how you look physically though.

Yea This guy is an ass for the bashing of CW's appearance .. I do how ever agree that we need a change or it will never get better .. That being said Charlie weis has done so much for this school on and off the field he deserves to be treated with respect and people should thank him ... If we can bring in a top flight COLLEGE coach with the talent Charlie has amassed we will be Champions again .

Look, this is not a paid gig. It takes a lot of time to sift through every single post. When I saw yours, I deleted it. I had already seen that another mod had talked to the other poster about the 'douche' posts. I thought they were deleted as well. They weren't, but I did see one and deleted it. I had to get back to work so I didn't have time to sift through every single one. Since the other guy had been warned and your response to him deleted, I considered the matter closed, but you obviously haven't.

There's no censorship, it's just trying to keep the board civil and clean. There are all kinds of different opinions out there, which make the board exciting to read. We should be able to have dialogue without getting personal (I sayshould because at times it's hard...I've been guilty of it myself). However, the 'douche' comments and the 'fuck you' comments are uncalled for and have no place on this particular board. If you continue to feel the need to use that, why should I have to ban you? Why not be an adult and go somewhere else where they like that kind of thing? Why on earth would you waste your time on a board that you feel censors you? I wish I had that much time to hang out at a place that I thought was holding me back.

Well it looks horrible now that we lost our last 3 games. Your measuring stick is broken!?!?! Ur comeing from somewhere outsiders or younger generations have forgotten about or have never seen.
