That is because Henderson was going to pick Notre Dame. Its like you just see the end result and have no context of how it happened. Henderson was absolutely picking Notre Dame, that is why EVERYONE was picking Notre Dame. A&M came in at the last minute, gave him a huge bag of money AND Elko mentioned he had the same agent as Freeman and that he KNOWS Freeman is leaving after this year, then gave Henderson an ultimatum that this offer would go away if he visited ND. That is what made Henderson flip his decision.
