He is. The July date is just a public announcement. This one is wrapped up barring something happening over the next 2 weeks that would have him change his mind.

ND will spend the rest of the cycle looking to flip a linebacker, and / or will work back channels in season to take one out of the transfer portal if need be.

Seems like him and Park is the finish to 23. Then 24 and 25 would be LB and DB or BPA if they get there. 24 seems more likely than 26 this year.

I believe Evans ruled out a reclassification in an on3 interview a few weeks ago.

never going to be "big". I just want him to come in 27 or 28 depending on what the staff thinks is best. Would it best to bring him in this year because of how good they feel about next year? Idk the answer.

And he’s gonna be like that whether it’s in 2027 or 2028. The thinking is probably getting him on campus ASAP and work with Notre Dame’s strength and conditioning team versus a high school one.

I don’t agree with that. There are plenty of CB prospects with similar frames that are just 6’0 not 5’10



If you didn’t know he was 5’10, would you say that is the one of the smallest frames you’ve ever seen on a prospect? He also has a verified longer wingspan.

I mean, yeah, he looks very small. I guess we’ll just have to agree to disagree. He’s gonna have to gain 30 lbs. too. Obviously, I trust the coaches judgement. If they think he can contribute then let’s go get him.

Most HS CB prospects look small

O’Malley even has a story about how small Moore looked as a freshman until he put on pads he somehow transformed

Ponds was never listed over 175 pounds on a roster at IU/JMU. Jordan Clark was 182 his final year at ND.

I definitely think he can add weight a long frame and play college football. and being a 2027 vs 2028 kid isn’t a huge difference in that process.
