Loy had said this recently:

“The 6-6, 215-pounder turned in a stellar performance recently at The Opening and Elite 11 in Miami, and took home 247Sports' Alpha Dog honor. He started blowing up ever since that took place…Notre Dame watched Davidson throw recently...It'll be interesting to see if they enter the mix. If they do, look out. That offer would be quite impactful.”

You can say this about a lot of raw QBs, but this is a First overall pick if he hits.

So... does his line suck? Happy feet? Street ball? Why is he always throwing on the run, and how does it likely translate to D1 / ND?

He translates to D1 by having arm talent which it appears from the highlight tape he has. We wouldn't need him to come in and play right away. He'll have at least a year where he can sit and develop fundamentally

“On the field, I would say I am a copy-and-paste prototype of Trevor Lawrence.”

LMAO

Listen, they’re both extremely tall dudes that can make throws on the run and can move just well enough to make a play on the ground when it matters…

I don’t watch enough high school film to commit to any smartass comments from here

His line stinks, but based on the route trees it seems like theg move the pocket and roll him out a lot by design. At the HS level it make sense I guess since he becomes another weapon out in the open field for defenses to deal with.

Love a mobile QB and moving the pocket. Hopefully he can also stand and throw behind a line that does not stink.

A bit of a project but upside is insane. I liked him much more than Lopati.
