I didn't think they were going to have to offer him. What's going on with Denbrock and the '26 TE's?

Mueller told Denbrock that he is in the process of narrowing down his options and wants to commit by June. A “shit or get off the pot” type of situation.

His offer came a few days after that call.

I'm hoping this is a "offer Mueller to get __________ or ___________ to commit."

Like the Jirehl Brock offer that made Kyren Williams pop.

From all accounts and reports I’ve read from ND outlets, they very likely are going to take two TEs this class.

The staff was hesitant to offer Meuller because he doesn’t have much game film. This past year was his first playing high school football. And he doesn’t play in a pass-friendly offense.

He camped at ND last Irish Invasion, and was very intriguing. Has all the traits and movement skills, just very raw. He’s a guy you can definitely bring in as part of a two man class.

I had hopes for two better right now prospects this cycle. I think the timing of TE-U being #2 and the TE room timeline was a great time to bring in an Anderson and Premer (example). Just surprised nobody jumped at Denbrock's offers early... like Brock Wright did for master recruiter / TE Slayer, Scott Booker.

A lot of people who have seen him live and studied what's available think he's soft btw including our old friend Naz.

I haven't put any time into him because I thought after the hype of Invasion passed so did his chance but looks like Denbrock took a page out of Rudolph's late Herron snag.

This just popped up as a top return when I was looking for something else.

I guess the smart futures bet is... CB

Glad there's 105 scholarships.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen you say something this negative about a prospect

He's worth a shot but he's not a football player yet. Combine that with the need for 2 good prospects with the fact no one's jumping into Denbrock's lap even though he just went to the NCG and runs TE-U.

Just down on the process this cycle but there seem to be a good number of TE fits in this class so I'm not overly worried as there should be enough to fill the slots by default.

Planning to commit in May. I get the sense he's on the outside looking in at the moment.

He visited ND twice last summer and is on campus today (supposedly). Likely both parties will get a better idea of where they stand after today.

I like the idea of taking him as the second TE in this class. He's athletic, long, has the build. Only thing is he has hardly played any high school football. You take two TEs this class, one that is more developed, ready to roll, and another that you stash away for a year or two, have him learn the nuances of the game and position more, then by Year 3 he's ready to be part of the rotation.

Kid is a unit. He ran a 4.68 40 and had a 9’10” broad jump at ND in June. Great numbers for a 6’5”+ 250lb kid whose just going into his senior year of HS. Both of those are essentially in line with the average for a TE at the combine this year.

With the expanded scholarship limits, he’s probably worth a flier due to the upside.
