Love the ball placement. Hate that he freaked out and abandoned a clean pocket.
FYI, he just threw a pick to Joey OB.
50+ in the bucket. What a throw. Arm strength was my number one concern and if he’s already hitting those half way through his junior year he’ll be more than fine.
About 55 yards in the air.
Is "Fighting Irish Wire" a paper of record?
Never heard of em
Like Coen/Hartman/Leonard?Why would any high school top-level QB commit to IU? They take a portal every year and do not seem to care about developing one.
Because their QB play has been good and they just had a dude win the Heisman. Why would any high school top-level QB commit to IU? They take a portal every year and do not seem to care about developing one.
And we had discussions back then about how we got to get off that track or it will get harder to recruit QB’s.Like Coen/Hartman/Leonard?
Gino was 6’4” at the NFL combine. Teddy is taller than I thought.
Big strong qb with a quick release!!
I don't think ND is thinking that Jarrard will be the heir apparent. I think that they look at Grubbs and Jarrard similarly from a talent level. ND wanted him early so that they both could compete for the job and not have Jarrard competing at a disadvantage. I think either one of them could be very good. Glad Jarrard decided to reclassify. It will only help ND.The quiet thing is said out loud![]()
Notre Dame QB Commit Teddy Jarrard Hosts Denbrock, Guidugli
2026 Irish quarterback commit Teddy Jarrard talks about reclassifying and his in-home visit with Mike Denbrock and Gino Guidugli.irishsportsdaily.com
“Notre Dame offered it up to me,” he said. “They thought it would be a good idea to get everybody in there and competing. If I stayed a year behind, I’d be coming in as a true freshman competing for the starting job instead of having a year under my belt. That was their thought process and it ended up being the best decision for me.”
Correct, if you're Notre Dame what you want is to get all of the QBs on campus now and give you a full year of evals on each... everything from practice habits to leadership to arm talent. Then after CJ goes pro you can make a decision on whether you want to dip into the portal for a QB or whether you think someone has the goods.I don't think ND is thinking that Jarrard will be the heir apparent.
