He does have a few highlights that show him throwing with a 3/4 motion, though it’s not terribly concerning to me given that the rest of his mechanics are tight — holds the ball high, compact release, great feet, etc.. Lots of kids from California and Texas have his throwing motion because they play baseball half the year, not sure if that is the case here. At any rate, this is one of the more impressive Sophomore tapes I’ve seen, he’s more naturally gifted than anyone we have on the roster or committed at this point, imo.
