2025's Cam Williams / Carnell Tate

My buddy who's in the Chicago 7v7 scene says he's the best Chicago WR since Jason Avant and he was spot on with Kaleb Brown and Carnell Tate.

Camped or visited for a game last year.

Actually, his film reminds me of TJ Jones the most.

Kane County, IL in the house!

2019 Geneva was 0-9. They've made playoffs the last two years. Program is turning back around again. I hope he stays and doesn't go to IMG or something like that.

Started out 5-1 but finished 6-4 and got rolled in their rivalry game against Batavia. Otherwise they had competitive scores against good teams win or lose.

Didn't realize when I made this profile that his dad is Tavian Banks... an all-timer RB at Iowa.

I believe he had a business in the area that is now closed. He was coaching at one of the Naperville high schools as well.

4th round draft pick who did a spell in the NFL until a knee injury. The Jags drafted him in the 4th round the same draft they took Fred Taylor in the first.

And just saw BMac's reference that he's Tavian Banks' son. Guy was an absolute stud his senior year at Iowa. If he got dad's speed and nose for the endzone, he'll be a baller.

Geneva is one of the top teams in Class 6A right now and it's a loaded class. They're going into the teeth of their conference schedule coming up.

One thing about him you notice from last year to this year is that this year he's more of a receiver than just a speed guy. You can tell he did the work in the offseason to get better. Runs his routes crisper, has learned how to get his body under control more. His dad being a Power Five guy who had a sip in the NFL ultimately helps. He knows the work he has to put in if he really wants to get there.

Coach Brown has been recruiting Taylor since his freshman year of HS while coaching at both Cincinnati and Wisconsin.
