Sevillano was holding his own in the playoffs last year. Not crazy to expect some growth from then.

No offense, but it kind of is a lot for me to expect that considering he was invisible last year. Hard to do with a guy that's well over 3 bills.

Everyone needs to take a lesson from this about how we view these three star under the radar prospects

I can promise you, Charlie Partridge may not be able to land all the four and five star recruits, but I will bet money on him developing and graduating his guys into four and five star recruits. Believe that.

Why not both?

Not all dudes his size are going to have stupid weight room numbers like he does. Just an absolute swashbuckler with an all day motor. Love it.

Zorich destroyed many teams, but Pitt most of all. One time Pitt had a 'drive' that consisted of Zorich, three times, using a swim move to get by the center before the poor guy could get out of his stance, before tackling somebody deep in the backfield. Just three of those and a punt.

A lot of people think of Howard Cross III when they see Brewu, and while I get the comp from a size perspective, I think lot of the comp actually just comes from Cross playing at ND recently.

I actually think the better comp is actually Sheldon Day, who was fantastic for Notre Dame and has gone on to have a really solid NFL career. His combination of power, disruptive quickness and block destruction remind me of Day. As does his 6'1, 285'ish lb frame.

Really good player!

i see this kid being just nasty against opponents now that he'll have better talent around him where other teams can't just focus on him mostly like they probably did at Pitt

Exaclty. The talent around his is the biggest factor. Not only will you almost never be able to allocate a double team to him, the games your can play with him, the defensive end to his side and linebackers that rush like KVA and Sneed, are going to cause a lot of havoc!

Said it before and I'll say it again....so glad Marcus Freeman is our head coach. Tournament director of my bass tournament yesterday is from Ohio and was saying how he wished Freeman was at Ohio State now over Day.
Ryan Day is 3-0 against Marcus Freeman.

Ryan Day is 2-4 against Michigan.
