Very confident our first string DBs (including nickel) are 4 NFL starters and Christian Gray. Including Golden in that as well.

I'm always impressed when teens/young men choose to take on and overcome challenges. Even if it was only that he had to take school seriously to do it. I'm not saying that is all he had to do, only that it seems the least amount of adjustment. He would have still played P4 football if he didn't get the grades/scores for ND.

To use NDspeak, he chose hard and I think it's fucking awesome.

I think he needs to come back. He started the year
sluggish without Watts. Come back for some NIL and get another year under your belt setting up the back end of the defense and be even better of a draft pick.

I know certain players HAVE TO go, Love for example.

But man, I’m not sure how you can’t look at this roster next year, know ND will get key pieces in the portal, want to collect a check, and be part of something I expect to be truly special.

If ND can get two dawgs at DT, a true #1 WR, get Price to stay, man, could be an amazing team.

With the way Tae is playing 2nd half of year, and same with Adon, I'd almost take this year's safety duo over last year's. I know that's sacreligious and Watts was a GOAT, but man, year 3 Adon and Tae with ~8 game's experience... It's hard to beat. Tae has a chance to be better than anyone with his athletic ability and ability to tackle.

I’m surprised they consider him a freshman after playing in 3 games last year

Yep, going into his JR year he was a Top 25 player and then in the Spring he plummeted down to the 70s-80s, he committed in the Summer and then they dropped him all the way down into the 160s-170s going into his SR year.
