Obviously it’s one rep against Devan Houston but I thought he looked good on Saturday. Honestly feel like we have 4 DTs I’d be comfortable starting with Tionne, Brewu, Onye, and Mukam. Pretty wild he came back.

Its amazing that we went from DT will never allow us to win a game again to there are not enough snaps to go around for 5 guys that are all at near starter level players. Mukam still has a lot to prove against good competition but Onye, Brewu, Gray and Hughes would start most places

I think Brewu is definitely DT1, after that I am a Hughes fan but acknowledge he has limited upside against the CFP type OLs. I still don’t see it at a high level with Onye. Then there is Gray. He’s definitely big out there. I didn’t think he looked great in the spring game. He is the one they need to see improvement week over week because he controls the upside of the DL. Lastly is Mukam who considering the PT the other 4 will get is almost icing on top. Anything they can get out of him is great.

the depth and size of the interior DL finally looks national championship caliber. Probably the one area of the team that I am not a bit concerned about should an injury hit.

Hughes was one of our most productive DT's last year Id feel fine with him and Burgess to be honest with you, Mullins also played well when he got time

We also hypothetically could return every DT outside Onye in 2027, which is pretty wild.
True, but there are 13 DT's on the spring roster. I'm thinking roughly six will play, including Onye. Most of the others will leave in all probability.
But we'll still be pretty deep.

I'll admit I'm pretty surprised with his development. I said something along the lines of "he has no business in 2 deep at DT on a championship level team" around the time last season ended. Very glad to be wrong and hope he keeps it up.
