I am honestly good with either starting. I trust the staff to get it correct. If you start Carr oline better pass block. Any doubt about them being great in pass blocking, I may lean Minchey. Yes, Carr has the superior arm and great natural thrower skills. That's not everything though. Minchey's quick release and quick feet are an asset and uncoachable. Minchey's arm is good also. The best player to lead us to victory will start.

People worrying because neither has clearly separated themselves and grabbed the job. Maybe both are just that good! Like a couple of thoroughbreds in a photo finish.

Could it be the starter is determined by the O-line?

This makes me sad

Gameday requires a commitment to openness...openness to teaching new words to little children and scaring puppies
I worry about the season if you are already giving up on that

Team isn't just between the sidelines, or the bench area, or even in the stadium. Team also means being at home and caring so hard that the rest of the family starts scheduling trips to the MIL's house on Saturday

I think it could play a factor yes. Denbrock likes qbs who can run: Ridder, Daniels, Leonard. Minchey isn't exactly Lamar Jackson, but he moves better than Carr. He only runs when necessary and is a passer first. If the oline pass blocking isn't ready to go week 1 putting Carr out there may not be the best choice. I will say if pass blocking is stellar, Carr will crush it in this offense. Going to be a fun camp.

Hahaha horka is a clickbait idiot. we have a true sophomore and true junior who have never played meaningful snaps 2 days into campb and are making judgements. Can't wait for actual real information to come out
