I am honestly good with either starting. I trust the staff to get it correct. If you start Carr oline better pass block. Any doubt about them being great in pass blocking, I may lean Minchey. Yes, Carr has the superior arm and great natural thrower skills. That's not everything though. Minchey's quick release and quick feet are an asset and uncoachable. Minchey's arm is good also. The best player to lead us to victory will start.Did you see the vid of them both throwing go routes today? It was so clear CJ was just slinging it and hitting them down the field with no effort.
That said, I love Kenny. I love his head set and I love his all around style. Whatever. This is a great problem.
Could it be the starter is determined by the O-line?I am honestly good with either starting. I trust the staff to get it correct. If you start Carr oline better pass block. Pretty much. I remember Kizer prior to the NFL Draft saying he was up there with Brady and Rodgers. Talk is cheap.Well, either he is, or he isn’t. Time will tell.
I'd give Carr game 1 against Miami and Minchey game 2 against TANM...
Correct. This schedule doesn’t dictate what michigan did a few years ago with mccarthy and the other qbThat's a no from me. Let the starter start and give the backup a series or two.
Fixed it for ya.No matter which one is named starter, I'm really just looking forward to the Chris Ash Revisited thread
I for one will remain calm, cool, and collected and definitely not turn into a drunken neurotic mess after the first bad play.No matter which one is named starter, I'm really just looking forward to the Miami game day thread.

This makes me sadI for one will remain calm, cool, and collected and definitely not turn into a drunken neurotic mess after the first bad play.
I promise to be there drunk and obnoxiousNo matter which one is named starter, I'm really just looking forward to the Miami game day thread.
I think it could play a factor yes. Denbrock likes qbs who can run: Ridder, Daniels, Leonard. Minchey isn't exactly Lamar Jackson, but he moves better than Carr. He only runs when necessary and is a passer first. If the oline pass blocking isn't ready to go week 1 putting Carr out there may not be the best choice. I will say if pass blocking is stellar, Carr will crush it in this offense. Going to be a fun camp.Could it be the starter is determined by the O-line?
My man!I promise to be there drunk and obnoxious
We had a fighting chance against OSU in 2022 with Tyler at QB and an awful WR group. I’m confident with both QBs at Miami.
Book took Wimbush's starting job, two final fours, and is the all time wins leader.
Umm, sure give me Minchey = Book
Worst things that can happen is neither of them takes the job and they have to defacto choose a starter where neither of them truly won it. Whichever guy it is I want there to be no doubt.
They haven’t even practiced in pads. LolSeems like that’s the current situation
They haven’t even practiced in pads. Lol
Eh, it’s not that we don’t have *a* starting QB…it’s that we have two.Yeah but we don’t have a starting quarterback and we walk into hard rock in 29 days. Remember our last experience there?
I mean sure but that was 7 years ago. If BK is coaching the Irish on August 31st, then I'll be worriedYeah but we don’t have a starting quarterback and we walk into hard rock in 29 days. Remember our last experience there?
I’m confused. Were you expecting them to have a starting QB 2 days into camp?Yeah but we don’t have a starting quarterback and we walk into hard rock in 29 days. Remember our last experience there?
I believe it was Brady’s intellect and preparation in Cam Newton’s bodyPretty much. I remember Kizer prior to the NFL Draft saying he was up there with Brady and Rodgers. Talk is cheap.
