My guess is nothing happens since it's not the coaching staff offering the money in the 1st place.

If you didn’t see this becoming a problem then you don’t oh attention. (Not you just a general statement) Once they could pretty much bid on players this was done and a bad idea.

But like most things the NCAA does this was a half as thought out idea.

That could be the case, but one program is vastly different than the other. PSU has had maintained success since Franklin has been there, and they've rebounded nicely after finishing 11-11 the previous two seasons.

WVU is likely to move on from Brown after this season, so their next hire will be crucial to keeping Gallagher.

PSU just processed a receiver out of their class. I think this is more than just trying to improve his NIL

WVU lost Saturday and isn't bowl eligibile. Writing has to be on the wall for Neal Brown. Beating OU bought them some time but he's got one more game and he's probably done this upcoming Sunday.
