“As of now, I’m not doing anything [with other schools], but I wouldn’t say it’s completely shut down,” he explained. “I’m going to chill. I’ll still listen to what other schools have to say, but I’m just chilling.”

Please tell me this is a fake quote lmao. Might as well say "committed to ND unless someone drops a bag"

Every commit is committed until they're not. Unless something happens with the program - at least that's how I view that statement. Half the class last year were reconsidering their pledge when Kelly left.

Yeah, not gonna celebrate this, he will get paid. At least he is upfront that he is still open to offers.

If getting paid was his main motivation, he would've just committed to A&M, the main competition in his recruitment. I'm not buying that, he's just saying what damn near every commit says nowadays, the power is in their hands and people have to get used to this.

Interesting, I haven't read that much at all before. But he likely he will chance the bag eventually.

J. Love- "Notre Dame has everything to offer, athletics, academics, it's a good fit for me and family (no fake southern accent) small student population (I'm an introvert), great environment" (paraphrased).

All good signs, doesn't sound like a big bag school like A&M would be a good fit at all for him.

No reason at all to think he's chasing a bag at this point. People have to remember the difference between a big bag up front and long term financial success is something a lot of these kids can understand. They're more mature (some of them) than people give them credit for.

Slow play. “Commit” to another school and let the moneybaggers come bidding for your talent after. Hope he sticks and isn’t playing chess while ND is playing checkers

Which one do you think is more likely from this offensive staff?

I meant Love is playing the long game. He’s “committed” to ND but will entertain larger offers than he’s getting now to go elsewhere. Conveniently, of course

What would be the point in that when A&M was the other team lobbying for him? Not going to find much higher bidders than them.

He visited the Marshall and Stanford games. Idk if that’s a good thing or bad thing…
I mean there's really no reason why him visiting for those two games was a good thing. He could've seen them against NC or BYU which would've looked a lot more promising for the offense he'll be playing for in comparison.

I want to be excited about this, but I just keep having flashbacks to Tommy's inability to utilize the talent he has properly...
