'23 IN OT Trevor Lauck (Iowa)

They'll be tough out for anyone this year. They have a massive OL, one guy's committed to a MAC school, a couple others will play in college at some level. Their QB is rated and has Ivy offers.

They had @ 350 yds rushing and shut it down in the 3rd.

Lauck's the twig second from the left.

Looks like that pic was taken at the Olive Garden in Greenwood on US31. I wonder if the had the never ending pasta special?

Correct, Mexico IN is a whole lot of nothing except maybe the Eel River if anyone is brave enough to float down that.

Didn’t realize that FC got a new coach this year. They can’t be that good if having to come back against Perry though. I don’t think think that they won a game last year. I live down the road from Perry and the neighborhood kids say that they’re not good at any sport.

Good for your son. RHS is usually pretty strong in wrestling. Hope that it works out for him.

Yeah, it’s a bit nuts that they changed their name but whatevers I guess…??? Some of my buddies aren’t too happy about it though. When I transferred in they were just doing away with the confederate flag being the school flag and folks were in an uproar about that too.

I was always told that they chose the Rebels because Pope Roncalli was a bit of a rebel apparently in the church. Who knows where they came up with the Royals …too much like Hamilton Southeastern IMO.

Define "not that good". Very few O lineman who weren't that good have ever been offered by OSU, MI, MSU, IA & Brett Bielema in a six month span.

I guess I should have also added he has a Duke offer to check that box too.

I like seeing young men like this earn their offers.

But, I’m having a hard enough time figuring out who’s getting left out of the class already. Lauck just muddies that further.

Landing Schrauth and Wagner just changed the calculus of this OL class.

Just pointing out what a crazy scenario it is.

A couple of thoughts:

He's put on some serious OG weight.

He isn't 6-6. Ian Moore to his left is between 6-5 - 6-6. Luke Burgess on the right is 6-7.

It feels like enough will fall through the cracks that he ends up with a spot.

My CB is still on the board.

Agreed. If this is a 4 linemen class, not sure ND can bring in Jagusah and then 3 of 4 from Absher, Freeling, Pendleton, and Sierveld.

Bobby I think you said in another board a 4 of Jagusah, Lauck, Paige and one of the 4 above would be a fine class. I'd agree with that.

Anyways, he says that ND is in contact still, but fading. He sees Trevor signing elsewhere.

Their season is over.
They were named National Champs by Maxpreps.
My daughters will be attending Roncali in the future. I talked to AD Lauck recently.
