Camping at Invasion on June 6.

Originally from Medicine Hat, Alberta Canada

This kid looks the part. That's a ++ athlete right there.

He was at Peddie School last year and with Covid, has very little film. Will be at Deerfield Academy in Mass next season.

Lea offered yesterday, so did Tennessee. Has all the Ivy offers.

Iowa leads partly because of their connection with former Canadian WR, Tevaun Smith who played at Iowa then the NFL/CFL.

One of the quotes I read was... “Claypool's size with John Metchie’s route running"

If that's just half true, he's an auto offer.

Could he be this year's Matt Brunell?

Yes, please. Stop recruiting all WR/ATH’s and get this guy.

I don't know. The last time we went to Canada for a WR, how did that work out?

Can't wait to hear about how he does in the Irish Invasion camp setting. He looks the part, now go show the ND staff that he's for real.

Had a good Friday. Got offered by Duke, UVa, Ole Miss and PSU.

He's gonna be rolling into town as a hot commodity and I think his workout films are going to translate to a Brunelle like Invasion-domination.

This is starting to make too much sense. Gonna do it cuz I'm a wildman who loves futures bets.

He's currently 6'3'', 212 pounds. That is pretty heavy for a receiver that isn't even in college yet. Best case scenario here is Claypool 2.0. A more realistic projection could be a much more athletic James Onwualu.

Your post is Claypool 2.0 haha. Many were convinced he should be moved to defense during his recruitment.

And more jumped on the defensive bandwagon after they saw him excel on special teams from Day 1. I believe he could've been All-Pro at either. The fact that he came in with 4 NFL DE draft picks thankfully makes it a moot point. I will say, he ended up being the physical skill set that most thought Daelin would be and he just had a meaner streak than Julian Okwara.

That's kind of where I'm at. I question whether he's a true 6'3 which isn't a big deal but if he's 6'2 1/2 that's a lot different than Claypool's 6'4. I'd definitely offer whether or not he's comfortable playing other positions and take him as a WR. But if he's willing to play S or Rover, this is a no brainer.

Tea leaves say this is setting up to be a big story line at Invasion. The services are finally taking notice now that he swapped follows with Del/Tommy.

Becomes a bigger story with the Walker visit just happening and potential movement in the direction of that recruitment.

Really excited to see how he performs and I hope his Mom has the opportunity to get down to see ND this weekend. If the football connection with Del/Tommy happens, I strongly expect this to be a great fit off the field the more I dig into this.

I’m here for the II fireworks.

And, as much as I like Walker, he runs the risk of getting bumped by giving those type of interviews. If they get an Ayomanor and Anderson commitment before Walkers OV, things get really interesting for him.

And that's not even mentioning Merriweather or Williams possibly wrapping up early

Yeah, the fireworks are coming and we won't have to wait till the 4th to watch them start.

Agreed and that is in important distinction. Those guys have tickets whenever they want and that’s the difference between Walker and them. Walker is competing for a spot in the group of “everyone else”. And that group is deep and some are could be more “committed” quite soon

Very nice. You were on this one early and often. WR recruiting could get interesting fast.

So what are people feeling on this recruitment? He's amongst my biggest wants just based on his highlights. He looks so explosive, am I crazy?

and smooth and long at the same time.

He's First Team All-Berta to me.

I'll see myself out.
