Staff started following him maybe two months ago and he comes out of Brandon Collier's Euro program like Ehrensberger.

Saw a couple of SM games this year and he looks good... not All American level but when you consider he turned 16 last fall and he's playing in the best conference in the country, it's impressive.

So he should be a Soph right now but he reclassed up. Ton of physical talent obviously but I wish he would've stayed in the Class of '23.

His teammate at SM, Maurice Heim is also a German from Collier's program. He's headed to Washington but committed to Pete K before he left for Texas. Texas offered last month with everyone else.

I can't remember where I saw it but I'm pretty sure I've read articles saying that Kanu would absolutely consider ND if we were to offer. He's still pretty early in the process so I don't think we'd be too late if we were to offer soon. Obviously plenty of big time competition but I'd love to see the staff give it their shot.
