Well, it would be relevant. If he is, that puts us at 6 just like your example in Clemson. I think they go for 2 in this class but numbers aren’t an issue for 2020 or 2021, as it stands now.

Numbers may not be an issue but it certainly seems lack of talent may be an issue. I liked how C'Bo ran this year but not sure he has what it takes to be an every down back. I hope Kyren will be used this year but he was still only a 3 star. I think taking 2 highly rated 2021 RB would be prudent due to the lack of elite talent in the current roster. Excited about Tyree, though.

Agreed, not saying it's not.

I just can't keep up with him and thought I remembered he was being switched back to DB for next year.

Get tow this year and you have good #'s after JA and AD leave plus any out of leftfield transfer / medical retirement. Would've felt better had they taken Tirek Murphy this year.

Still could take Michael Drennen this cycle... (Paging Bill Rees, paging Bill Rees)

Pretty surprised by this considering it's a top 10. As he notes we may still be able to get back in but the board is very thin outside of landing Shipley.

He is Cincinnati's to 'lose' right now, aka the big-name schools in his top-10 have a couple of months to make him a priority rather than a backup plan, or else he'll probably be a Bearcat.

He's a backup plan for both OSU and scUM right now. They're both pushing for Donovan Edwards, while OSU is also after Evan Pryor.

Depending on how all that goes, Kiner could end up being a priority for one of them, which makes it a tougher pull for UC.

I would like to believe that this tells us something about Shipley's recruitment.

I know posters on here have pointed it out in the past, but I can’t help but shake my head when the recruits include the “in no particular order” when it’s clearly in alphabetical order. Did alphabetical get kicked out of the ordering system and I missed it? What he should have said was “In no particular order.... except for alphabetical.... oh and I also put my leading school first on the list... but yea pretttyyyy much no particular order”

Committing to LSU tomorrow. Pretty wild he’s getting out of the Midwest and heading to the defending national champs.

They came from out of nowhere in his recruitment if that holds.

Was there any info out there aside from that *one* crystal ball that came in for LSU when he announced his commitment date?

I am not surprised that he is headed to LSU. Ed O. is a great recruiter (can you imagine if he would've stayed at USC?) and they did win a NC last year.

I don't see ND getting a big time RB in this year's class; seems like we put our eggs all in the Shipley basket.

Big time as in his rating given by the dummies or big time as in real talent possessed?
