— Dingle is a prospect we’ve mentioned at Irish Illustrated in the past. He visited for a game in the fall and has plenty of interest in Notre Dame. He’s also good friends with Notre Dame freshman Jacob Lacey, who is also from Bowling Green, Ky. The belief is that Dingle ends up as one of the top overall players this weekend, as our sources maintain that he is one of the most underrated prospects in the 2021 class.

I imagine the number for TE in 21 is probably only 1? Unless further attrition to the depth chart.

I really liked his brother Justice. I thought he'd be a thumping 240 lb Mike but GT has him up to 265 lbs and moved him to the D line.

I think the name to watch for at TE in '21 is Moliki Matavao out of Nevada.

Dingle did have nice production as a Soph though. I just question a 6-3 & change TE unless he's an uber athletic Flex with next level ball skills. And he also weighed in at 210 lbs at the Opening in Jan... though if he's like his brother, that's not a longterm problem.

I think ND might have to take dingle because 2021 TE is lacking. At least on 247. Can ND land Matavao? I know this is not great roster management but they could take Lucas ungar this year knowing he will redshirt and only take 1 TE this year.
