This kid plays a really nice nickel & FS who lays the wood plus is that size where he could move into Rover if he fills out. This kid will eventually blow up.

Plays for IL's #1 team. HC is former NIU AA QB, Jordan Lynch.

Does have some ND follows including Lea.

His tape is excellent. Great ball skills, solid tackler, and makes people think twice about running a route across the middle. I highly doubt there's 626 players better than him.

Fans won't be appreciating guys like Perry, and many others, unless they get significant recruiting bumps. Without going back and searching, didn't the story say he was being primarily recruited for Rover? It makes sense, he's the lengthy, 185 pound athlete Lee and Elko targeted going back to Wake.

Yea, I should’ve phrased that differently. Confirmed to ISD that he’s being considered for Rover.

I meant considered as he hasn’t been offered so they’re not really recruiting him for Rover until that happens. He mentions him getting to know the position better. Wonder if they want to get Balis’s eyeballs on him before moving.

I just want all the Catholic school kids from Chicago. And Justin Lynch has quickly returned Mount Carmel to the top of Illinois football... they'll only get better from here and that's just 90 minutes from campus.

Agreed, but it just feels like all of our Rovers are outgrowing the position. Kiser to ILB seems inevitable. JOK could be done after next season. And then that leaves Moala.

I'd like to see them target two Rovers in this class.
