Awesome get. Really excited to have him and momma Colzie back on board. Unreal recruiting props here for Rees and Alexander to play the long game when most thought it'd never happen.

Glad to have him back. We needed what he brings (big body).

Liked the Rivals story. Sounds like the whole process remained mutually respectful.

Is #1 Pyne?

On a serious note, guess this means big body Thornton is assumed all Oregon like most thought.

Don't look for them to give up on Thornton. With the pandemic still a thing during his recruitment and Portland being Portland and possibly bleeding into the college towns in the future if politics drives further unrest, I know I would NEVER-EVER let my kid go to Oregon from MD. At least at ND, he can jump into a car with teammates or other students which there are plenty from the DMV and get home same day.

Huge! Really good job by the staff. This kid is gonna be a problem for defensive backs. This WR class could be an all-time great.

Excellent job by all the adults around him, in providing this young man the space and the opportunity to find the direction his heart would lead him. Congratulations to Deion and the Colzie family! We are!

My stages of Colzie's recruitment:

1) So hopeful
2) So happy
3) So disappointed
4) So hopeful
5) So happy

That is all.

Great job by the staff and welcome to the Irish Family Deion!

Cheers and Go Irish!!

Did anyone catch the picture of him in his Steelers jersey? As if having an Irish Superfan for a Mom wasn't enough, looks like he's a Steelers fan and stepping into Mapletron's shoes at ND.

What's next? Does Tuitt live across the street from him?

that's some weird bubblewrap parent shit tbh. telling your kid they can't go to a school because there is unrest over a 100 miles away, 9 months before they would get there?

January will be here before you know it and things might not be any different than what they are now, will be worse in some places if Trump wins. I've been working for/with the PAC over the last few months, the schools are preparing for on campus protesting as there is obvious evidence that it is being coordinated. I did not visit Eugene but I've heard concerns out of their athletic department.

My concern for MY kid in this situation is it's not easy to get from Eugene to DMV if shiit gets crazy and you gotta go through the craziest place to get home. Getting from SB to DMV is a car ride and a destination many of your fellow classmates share.

In the end and as always, you lookout for your kid(s) as you see fit and I'll do likewise.

say they land Thomas and Thorton, could Styles then be moved to corner?

Good points, just hard seeing them take two bigs.

A lot of analysts imply he's overrated. I actually think he might be underrated. He's got quick feet and a good release for being so tall. He ran in the 4.5s at an Opening regional. If that time is legit, he's exactly the kind of receiver we've been doing a good job of developing into a pro recently. For example, go watch his highlights relative to Miles Boykin. He doesn't have the same thick frame as Boykin, but there's no question who is the quicker 6'4" WR on their HS film.

Very glad to have him back in the fold.

I agree. I think he's going to have to take his route running very seriously if he wants to play early. Getting in and out of his breaks for a 6'4 17-18 year old is fine but it will need to improve quite a bit at the next level. But, if he is able to do that, I think he's got 1st-2nd rd draft pick written all over him.

Oregon's currently ranked #3 on 247 so it doesn't look like too many people are worried about the riots.
