The appeal of Stanford goes beyond the campus and Palo Alto. You can walk to the smart train from campus and be anywhere in one of the most diverse and dynamic metro areas in the World (including both international airports) in about an hour.

Yes. Palo Alto has a much lower infection rate than South Bend and someone from Stanford will most likely come up with the vaccine.

That's a little mysterious.. Unforeseen circumstances? Like maybe a UGA offer lol.

I'm a little surprised at the lack of SEC offers (IIRC, just the Miss schools, and Vandy).

I truly think the kid will be Irish. Some time ago... I have been looking for it - he stated he wants a wants the high education... (won't get that in SEC)... Stanford, USC, Duke, ND were all after him so his grades aren't the issue.

Who knows at this point??
