I like this offer. I’d be happy with Rubio, Armitage, and Bennett. I think he’s got the length and quick twitch to turn into a quality pass rusher.

Whatever he wants this side of QB. He's one of those Mayer / Gilbert type of prospects.

Unless ND lands a sure-fire elite type end like Botelho this year, I think ND really needs to take 2 Sharks along with a strong end like Armitage, that is unless someone like Marist is pegged to move to end.

They're also being recruited for different positions so Abiara is irrelevant.

Very likely they like Booker and Bollers more than Bennett.

With Bennett, the big concern is his frame and how much weight he can realistically carry. Booker and Bollers are a bit more raw, but also have much larger frames and have the twitch and athleticism you're looking for in an end.

And this is where I have a different take than the guys at ISD. I thought going in that we use the depth at the position to get the best pure pass rusher you can. And, if he ends up being just a situational player then fine. He doesn't need to play every down as the depth in front of him would be there to support such a role. That's why I liked Bennett quite a bit from the beginning. Maybe he never gets above 240. Julian Okwara was pretty good hanging around or below that weight.

Now, with all that said. Could the staff view Ovie O as that type of guy? Seems reasonable given his size and you can't have too many situational players. I guess we'll see.
