Yeah the thought of turning down O'Neill is crazy to me in this era of expanded rosters.

Exactly, it's bit us in the ass too many times in the past so if I have a choice give me the dominate guy that's a fit over the "prospect" who 90% of the time is off the roster after a couple of seasons and bounces around schools.

I don't see where Folorunsho, Parks AND Fakatou would be playing all at the same time as they could all be 300+ lbs by their first college game.

How about "Sorry, to one of the project recruits" and "Hello Aiden". Until we start landing top tier DL on the regular we're not in position to turn any down.

Why don’t they simply build the plane out of big meaty men, I always say.

Just compared this year's Spring Game recruits to last year's (I'm pretty sure these numbers are accurate):

'25 Blue-Gold Game: NINE '26 recruits (7 eventual commitments), SIX '27 recruits (3 current commits)
'26 Blue-Gold Game: SEVENTEEN '27 recruits (only 3 current commits), SEVENTEEN '28 recruits

If there is anything near a similar hit rate this year, we might expect a ton of movement from this weekend's visitors.

Also Folorunsho was only on campus yesterday, wanted to have his mom come see campus as he only came with Zibby and Santucci last time, good sign IMO.

It was always highly unlikely that ND was simply going to explode up Olu's list. He's among the most coveted players in the country and has legit milliin (if not multi-million) dollar offers from a lot of the big hitters. ND has to stay in this one, keep battling and hope an amazing season sways him. Much like Albert Simien. This is ND big game hunting for luxuries.
