It helps ND a ton getting a discount on the NIL front when you are OLU and your recent NFL players are hall of famers with combined contract values near $1B.
It could also help having a bunch of former top 50 overall offensive linemen starting or in the two deep early in their careers. Jagusah was supposed to start as a sophomore, Lambert might be about to start as a sophomore, and Will Black might already be the 7th or 8th linemen after just a few weeks of camp.

Also, frankly, they could just use all the quotes about the guys that transferred from their new schools. Pendleton, Spindler, and Coogan all seem to be impressing not just for their play, but for the standard they are trying to bring their position group to at their new schools. That shows how different our position group is and how he won't be able to easily find one like it elsewhere.

Another update on Seneca Driver courtesy of ISD:
  • Planning on visiting for a game this year, uncertain which one at this point
  • He’s in consistent contact with Asst. TE Coach Harris Bivin, also in contact with Denbrock and Freeman
  • Quote from article that stood out to me “It’s still a bit early, but he has a clear idea on how he’ll be evaluating each of his options. ‘How the coaches are, the family atmosphere and how they would utilize me at tight end.’”
Profile on 247: Seneca Driver, Boyle County , Tight End

Also of note in 27 TE recruiting: On3/Rivals just released an article on Jack Brown’s fall visits which notes us as the leader

Premium article on Driver from Allen Trieu

We are the front runner

Huge. I was wondering why we weren't hearing more about Allen Evans from Louisville Trinity after he spoke so glowingly of Irish Invasion. Hasan, Ace Alston from Cinci, and Tavares Harrington from Mt. Carmel give us a pretty good looking top of the board at the moment. I think Harrington ends up at safety based on the MC film I've seen (he certainly fits the length profile of our recent safety recruits)

Things were said, feeling were hurt, ND was cursed to never get a kid from Naz again. According to Naz/someone close to JJ.
Pretty fucking stupid and not what I'd call professional.

Also, that staff around at that time is gone. Probably time to move on if any feelings are still hurt.

It certainly seems like Hasan is being recruited as a a Nickel, Ace as fCB and Tavares Harrington as a S.

Are you admonishing me for bringing up some of this message board's history? At the time, I thought it was pretty damn entertaining

I'm admonishing Nazareth Academy for being whiny grips.

It feels like things sort of worked out for McCarthy. Life went on for him pretty well.
