Both services have entirely different methodologies for how they rank, deal with reclassifications etc. Composite of the 3 gives you best idea and on that ND has 14 of 18 recruits as 4 stars. We also saw what Monds and Vaughn were rated (top 25 recruits) before relegated in the rankings simply for reclassifying
Yes, but it's absolutely senseless to take a 5⭐ in ANY class and drop him to a 3⭐ after reclassifying. Both of these kids are 5⭐ talents and top 50 players.

If you consider Monds and Vaughn 5 stars, ND got commits from 4 five stars in a month. Truly an all time run.

Just give them a 4 star. 3 star is just idiotic
Yea, but that's definitely some bias there because when other kids reclassify going to "certain" schools they never lose a ⭐.

Monds was the #1 QB and #2 player by Rivals and Vaughn was #19 and the #2 Edge. It's beyond lazy to just put a 3⭐ and say you need to re-evaluate a kid when he was an "Elite" recruit.

Yup. And i think that Monds, Whisenton and Vaughn will all rise to top 100 players to come level. Coleman probably wont crack top 100 but should be a consensus 4 star
Irvin, Hawk, Flanigan and Coleman all get 4⭐, Monds will rise a ton and should get to the top 50, Vaughn will rise quite a bit as well and could be anywhere from 40-60 in this class. Whisenton will be in the top 125 range as he's in the top 6-7 backs in the class.

yea I am basically agreeing with you man. I think it is fair to drop their rating as a wait and see strategy. but stevie wonder could watch their film and see Vaughn and Monds aren't 3 stars. Give them the token 4 star

Agree with all of this (except maybe Flanigan...not sure what he is playing in HS and that could effect his eval)

Well, he plays both OL/DL in HS but will begin his career at ND as an IOL. I believe Flanigan is already a composite 4⭐ and the sites that list him as a 3⭐ have him less than half a point away from 4⭐.

This isn't the thread for it but whatever Pete B is doing is being unsung. He's a hero, in my mind, and we should acknowledge it early. MF is getting every assistant he wants, MF is happy, MF is getting the updates and full NIL commitment.

Pete deserves a statue once MF gets his.

I am waiting to see what “concessions” Pete secured us from the ACC after his winter blow up but can’t disagree he’s done wonders for ND’s competitiveness for transfers / recruits.

Just checked on3's prediction machine for shits and giggles. 96.4% chance he goes to Florida, who is not even in his top 4.
Yea, all of those predictions were made way back between March 1-8 for Florida, then he went on UV's to Texas, Georgia, O$U, Colorado and ND and his tuned definitely changed. Basically all of those schools sans O$U became his top 4!

So we agree then that on3's RPM is absolute dogshit.

Unless an actual prediction is put in, the RPM is mostly based on vibes. He has visited the school, made posts about the school etc. And if the recruit is quiet or constantly changes their mind, than its essentially useless until predictions are put in.
