Could’ve been basic 1 on 1 drills. Could’ve been in cover 0, which requires safeties to cover 1 on 1. Could’ve been many different things. Sometimes safeties have to do more than just roam the field.

Could’ve been zone and the corner passed coverage to Shuler? It’s hard to gather much information from a 10 second clip. Regardless, Shuler was in his back pocket the entire time. Beautiful throw and catch by Carr and Gilbert. Great rep all around.

Usually when teams lose their all world player who could have won the Heisman, and the backup stud behind said player. It's painful and can be for a whole season or maybe two.
