I don't know why...I'm just not feeling too good about this one. The energy just seems off for opening week...coming in 0-1...reports of fans selling tickets...wishy washy defense...poor showing from the offensive line. We've put ourselves behind the 8-ball. We need the win more than A&M, but I'm just not confident in the defense from what I've seen and our offense cannot play as timid as it did in the first half against Miami. If we're not the aggressor, I've got A&M winning 23-31.

Zero trust for bubble screen guy and passive defensive coordinator Ass. The guys make enough plays despite terrible coordinating to win by four.

Well...if the defense shows another BVG-esque performance...you can add Ole to our DC's last name

I want to think with the culture that Freeman has built, they will respond and with the game being at home, they will bounce back and I hope both the OC and DC be aggressive with their playcalling. Honestly have nothing to lose at this point.

I think they have everything to lose. They would lose the ability to control their own destiny to the playoffs, something EVERYONE of us believed they would be in this year leading into the season.

I thought freeman built that culture, but no clue how that culture didn't show up with agression, physicality, violence game 1. I'll trust that it's true they were more focused on execution vs miami than playing aggressive (fitball vs football). We'll see saturday night.

Some of you missed your calling as psychologists. The ability to simultaneously percieve the emotional makeup of 80+ people you don't know by viewing them on TV 40+ yards away through body language alone is remarkable.
You saying in the Miami game it wasn’t painfully obvious our overall team’s lack of intensity, aggression, and physicality?

I'm just impressed that timidity, entitlement and an "above this" mindset can be read through helmets and sholderpads under those circumstances. I usually spend more time looking at formations, matchups, assignments, etc. but I think I might be watching the sport wrong?

I think we come out motivated and pissed off. They can't be happy with how they played at Miami and this is the next chance to prove that wasn't their best.

ND - 31
A$M - 20

If I’ve got until Sunday at 6:30 PM EST to make my pick I might actually get one right.
