If 9-3 Texas with wins over Oklahoma (10-2 in this scenario), Vandy, and either Georgia/A&M doesn’t make it over 10-2 ND (best wins USC, Pitt, Navy) then the committee is just telling these teams don’t schedule anyone OOC. Because 10-2 Texas who plays Ohio instead of Ohio State is getting in.

What people don't understand is the committee factors in style points. They don't see Texas beat Mississippi State and Kentucky and write them off. They saw how they struggled. If they win out they will be in. They aren't winning out because Arch sucks but if they find a way to get in, they will earn it.

I do think it’s shaping up that a 2 loss team, with a legitimate case resume, could be left out. Last year it was some mediocre 3 loss SEC teams that were bitching but nobody really took them seriously.
