Just an update on some stuff Merckxe has put out:

Currently have 4 guys signed but not announced. Right now the situation is fluid on what happens at QB and DE. (DE might get an addition once they get more info on Botelho). 2 DTs are in the fold. I would guess there is a safety and maybe another pure CB in the fold as well.

Re QB: we’ve spoken to 4; Ewers is the only confirmed one. Context clues on why else he’s said makes me think Klubnik is another target. There’s speculation Milroe is one of the other targets as well.

Wild guess here but I think the DE is Marvin Jones Jr. played two seasons at Georgia and this year at FSU. Had 4 sacks this year 6’5 255 Chad is following him on Instagram

Like every other part of their defense, he under-performed at fsu. But he still has a ton of potential, and, of course, the bloodline. He would be a good one to take a flyer on.

Oben is fascinating. Gonna need some backstory on what happened to him because he just wasn't it at all. Made worse because the injuries forced Burnham and Young to cross train instead of focus on developing at the strongside.

I'm certain Botelho will be back but if the injury reports are true, he won't be what he was. Could still be a productive backup but it just sucks that happened his senior year when it felt like he had turned it on.

ND returns Bowen, KVA, Ausberry, likely Sneed, plus Madden, and you have guys like Kahoun, Rezac and Zinter. A lot of bodies and not a lot of snaps. His playing situation wouldn't improve at ND. If anything, might get worse.
