A strong rotation of Rubio, Dawson, Onye, Mukam with Hinish being a Swiss army Knife and Sevillon in situational work would be huge.Armel Mukam standing out would be YUUUUGE news as far as interior DL depth goes.
I don’t know. Let’s ask 2008 what he thinks.Armel Mukam standing out would be YUUUUGE news as far as interior DL depth goes.
If they can get a safety to play 80% as well as X and the DTs play at a banged up level Cross, we will be fine. The DL depth will be much betterTough to evaluate the DL when our OL 1s are barely 2s, but I think for 60 snaps the DL will be better than last year by a good bit potentially
Yep. It'll be hard to replace the experience and smarts we had up the middle with Cross/Mills, Kiser, Watts. But the overall level of talent should be higher. If the game skills follow, watch out. There is a very strong possibility that this defense is next level good. As excited as I was for last year's, if the DTs are solid and the ends stay healthy, this should clear it by a good margin and it was probably the second best defense in the country.
Some have mentioned that Angeli's mobility or lack thereof is going to be an issue with the offense. I agree with this take. Yes, our oline will be great but having a qb who gets sacked a lot and handles pressure poorly will not work and minimize a lot of potential plays. Minchey and Carr move far better, especially Minchey. Quite eager to see how all 3 look in 1 week.Anyone who’s got Twitter can read Driskell article but to summarize Angeli had a rough day and was the worst of the 3 QB’s. Minchey made some nice plays but also made mistakes. Carr had 3 of the 5 most impressive throws and was most consistent
Mercke 🤝 Your local tv meteorologistSeems prophet Mercke has changed his tune from Carr very likely, won’t be close starting barring injury, shattering every ND record to no clear leader and “Angeli is playing well enough to make himself the now”
Or he got more data to change his mind?Mercke 🤝 Your local tv meteorologist
I mean so does my local tv meteorologist. Merely on observation 🤷🏼♂️Or he got more data to change his mind?

I don’t doubt that Merck has some kind of source but the more he posts, the more I’m convinced he’s spitballing on a lot of his posts with no real insider knowledge.Never trust someone who's so sure of himself
A shame Rairdon has only 1 year leftRaridon’s ceiling is still so high. Probaby one of the most “underrated” the TE position at ND has been entering a season in 20 years.
Sneed off the edge flash just to get everyone’s juices flowing

So Driskell is Mercke? Now this all makes senseDriskell constantly rags in Angeli and praises Carr as the next Joe Montana. “It just leaves his hand differently,” “it spins differently.”
As a self-proclaimed “QB guru,” it’ll be really telling if Angeli gets the nod as QB1. If that happens, I don’t see how you anyone can trust Irish Breakdown’s “analysis.”
